So why do we need colon cleansing? One word …
Toxins.
If you found your way onto this site, you may suffer from some type of disease, in the case of constipation, acne, candida, brain fog, or just a constant feeling of inertia. More likely is that the disease is related in some way to the colon.
You see, the colon is an organ that indirectly and directly affects all other body organs. When blocked, the liver cannot do its job properly. When the liver cannot function efficiently, the kidney suffers, etc. So to start curing our symptoms and to improve, we must first start to clean the colon.
The truth is that our colon, for most of us, is in an unhealthy state, full of mucous plaque, toxins, and a complete disaster. Our colon is clogged, causing constipation. How did we reach this state? Through a combination of poor diet, lifestyle, and poor living conditions.
Take, for example, our diet. Most Americans consume too much protein. The protein is necessary and completely healthy, but too much can cause excess acidity, which is not good. An excess of acid in the body can take a toll on the colon, since it reduces the necessary minerals and electrolytes in our body. This leads to the inability of the colon to tackle harmful bacteria and toxins.
Many of us overeat. We all know that the weight gain is a huge problem, but however, eating too much in one session can have serious effects in the long term. Ideally, we should not eat more than a handful of food in a meal. Overeating leads to excessive use of enzymes, and can cause our colon to work even harder.
Of course, I have not even mentioned the “food” you eat on a daily basis. Cookies, cakes, processed foods, chips, candy, etc. all were not intended to be consumed by man. The consumption of unnatural foods is one reason why it is mucous plaque stuck in our colon, and why we should all start a colon cleanse now …
Living in a World of Toxins
Our environment is another major cause for a healthy colon. Unless you live with the Eskimos, is likely to be subjected to pollution, secondary smoking, harmful chemicals, pesticides, etc every day. Our immune system has to work overtime to rid our body of these nasty chemicals. This weakening of the immune system leads to a weakening of the colon as well.
Colon cleansing is a safe, alternative to treat many of our symptoms and problems. It is only for people with constipation, but for anyone who wants to feel better, strengthen your internal organs. Cleaning is necessary to rid our body of toxins that accumulate as a result of an unhealthy diet, environmental pollution and chemicals, and constant use of antibiotics.
Bowel cleansing is not just about cleansing the colon. It is our cleaning indirectly the small intestine, large intestine and the stomach also.
When we cleaned, we are actually cleansing our entire body.
How does our colon do?
First, where is our colon and what is it used? The colon consists of the portion of the large intestine that extends from the cecum to our rectum. The purpose of the large intestine is to store waste, reabsorb water, and helps maintain the balance of electrolytes and water. The biggest plays no small role in our reality to digest food (although the bacteria use the fiber for their own benefit) – already done in the small intestine.
How do I know if I have a healthy colon?
Simple, if you have at least one bowel movement a day, with the intestines solid and very little constipation. Of course, if you are a weight lifter and eat 4000-5000 calories a day (Scary, I know), two or fewer bowel movements is normal. But if you’re like normal people, who should ideally, only have 1-2 bowel movements a day. Neither more nor less.
So what seems normal gut?
A healthy gut is 8-12 inches long and about 2.5 inches wide.
The bowels are solid, not in small pieces or slimy-like.
Contrary to popular belief, healthy intestines do not have to sink. Or float. Depending on your diet, you can go both ways.
A normal intestine has a brown color, but in a light green color is good too.
A normal bowel movement involves absolutely no effort. It is pain free, and effortless.
Many people who choose to clean their large intestines have problems with constipation, characterized by continuing efforts to excrete. This is not healthy and can lead to other serious diseases. When constipation occurs, traces of food remains in the inside of your body longer than they have to, it is dangerous. Think about this: What happens when you leave a banana peel away for several days? It is rotten. Well, you can imagine why this might cause problems inside your body.
All need cleaning
Even if you do not have constipation, colon cleansing can help anyone, especially the elderly. All we are subjected to unhealthy toxins day after day. These toxins come from an unhealthy diet, environment (such as pesticides or pollution), stress, overeating or under-eating, or malnutrition. These toxins all place a burden on our colon and make it work harder than necessary. Colon cleansing can remove these toxins and make our colon work more efficiently.
We routinely clean our furniture, our services, our cars, etc. Why? To get rid of the junk that accumulates. Our body works in basically the same way. Unwanted, as toxins accumulate and burden of our most important organs, such as our large intestine. When the bowel is obstructed, it cannot absorb nutrients. Toxins circulate back to our body, causing autoimmune diseases such as acne. Clean our bowels are a way to keep the body clean and efficient.
Colon cleansing is especially critical for those who want to begin to detoxify their bodies. To initiate the cleaning of other organs like the liver or kidneys, you must first start with the bowels. Why? Because when you detoxify other organs, lead to toxins leaving the body through the colon. But if the colon cannot do its job effectively, these toxins will eventually return back to the body, which can cause a whole myriad of other problems.
