 I Can Make You Thin

PaulMcKenna 240x300 I Can Make You ThinPaul McKenna has helped many people overcome unhealthy vices and personal problems through the method of hypnosis. Hypnosis? This may sound absurd to some, it did for me, but after spending some time watching a recent episode of “I Can Make You Thin” on ITV network my opinion was influenced, at least for now.

The power of the mind seems to be a mystery. Scientists have been studying the brain for hundreds of years and are still finding new developments. Paul McKenna seems to believe that having a strong mind-body connection can overcome almost any bad habits. More specifically, the weight loss, Paul preached his 4 rules.

Paul McKenna 4 Golden Rules

When you are hungry, eat.

Eat what you want, not what you think it should.

Eat consciously and enjoy every bite.

When you think you’re full, stop eating.

The above rules seem simple, yet so easy if the United Stated was not ranked # 9 in the list of the 10 countries of obese people in the world, according to a Forbes.com article written in 2007. Hypnosis was mentioned earlier in this article is not the typical trick of hanging medallion. Rather, Paul tries to help evoke images repulsive diet and associate them with food, while eager to do some form of physical action (usually pressing the thumb and middle finger together). The objective in implementing this action is to contribute to associate a feeling with a thought undesirable to reduce the intensity of that feeling. I tried some of the techniques demonstrated during the show, but felt a little uncomfortable when my daughter 6 months, frowning, looking at me in confusion. The next time I will wait until I’m alone.

I’m Paul McKenna program is so successful because of all that is. He has provided a new perspective on weight loss. As impressed as I was with “I Can Make You Thin” there is still a part of me is still a little skeptical, however, customer feedback Paul has received can not be ignored. Hypnosis aside, a diet is a diet no matter how you look. The biggest challenge to successful dieting is the amount you believe.
